Welcome to EDCM 301!
This course will introduce students to the various ways education of children takes place within community settings. The community is an integral part of a child’s life and can impact a child’s development and education in many ways. This course will provide students with an opportunity to learn about asset-based community development and the impact strong communities have on families, children, and youth. Students will explore local communities and learn about a variety of community organizations that work in the field of education.
