
Biology 101 is an introductory biology course that explores different aspects of biology from biological molecules to organisms and biodiversity. Topics include organic molecules, structures and functions of cells, photosynthesis, cellular respiration, genetics, evolution, animal body systems, and plant growth. Students in this class will acquire a basic knowledge of living organisms and the processes of life. Skills you will develop in this class include critical thinking about information, applying the scientific method, using quantitative analysis, and scientific communication.
