Thank you for selecting EDU 930A - Classroom Management and Discipline. I am looking forward to our time together.
Throughout this course, we will explore research demonstrating how cultivating relationships and establishing and reinforcing clear behavioral expectations can foster engaged, motivated students, resulting in successful classrooms and schools. Whether in traditional, virtual, or hybrid settings, actively involved and motivated students can excel academically, behaviorally, and emotionally.
Our course schedule comprises three live online class sessions conducted via Zoom, alongside asynchronous online assignments with designated deadlines. During our live sessions, we will utilize various instructional tools such as PowerPoint presentations, videos, and interactive discussions to dissect course materials comprehensively. All resources used in class will be conveniently accessible in the corresponding section below. Additionally, your participation in asynchronous assignments will be integral to assessing your engagement and contribute to your overall grade.
