This course introduces various methods, movements, and pedagogies of teaching in elementary schools to promote optimal student learning. Focus will be placed on teacher planning, teaching strategies and ideologies, assessment, and differentiation to increase student performance. Participants will explore how the classroom environment and school setting impacts optimal student learning.
