Art and Movement in the Classroom provides students with a critical understanding of the visual arts, music, movement, and drama for young children and the importance of integrating the arts into the curriculum. Students develop the knowledge, skills, and strategies needed to plan developmentally appropriate activities which integrate creative experiences in the visual arts, music, dance/movement, and drama within the early childhood and elementary classroom curriculum.
